Using Pinterest by Browsing and Searching

Today want to tell you all about how users of Pinterest users browse and search Pinterest. When it comes to browsing, it is very similar to using Amazon. Users browse the interest that they entered in the search bar. A good example of a search would be shoes. You enter shoes directly in the search bar and then you get a great number of shoe pins to browse through. The browser would pin the shoes that they liked and wanted to put on their own board to share with their follower as well as to keep an inventory of the shoes the browser liked.

There are a few way to search Pinterest. One can search directly, or by selecting the categories button. By using the categories button, the user has a large list of categories to select from. Pinterest tacks the things you view the most and puts those items in your categories selections/home feed.

One can use Google to search Pinterest also. Just go to Google, type in Pinterest and the search word that you are looking for. Here is an example of how to do that search ‘site:pinterest.com womens shoes’.

For people using Pinterest as a business marketing tool, they can simply search their competitors and browse those pins. This is a great way to get an idea of what your competitors are doing on Pinterest. You can use this to organize your own Pinterest page.
